How to Install Your Purchased Plugin for ClientExec

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install and set up your newly purchased plugin for ClientExec.

Step 1: Download the Plugin

  1. Log in to your PluginBreeze account:
    • Open your web browser and navigate to the PluginBreeze Client Area.
    • Enter your credentials to log in.
  2. Navigate to the “Downloads” section:
    • After logging in, find the Downloads section in your client area, where your purchased plugins will be listed.
  3. Download the plugin:
    • Locate the purchased plugin you want to install.
    • Click on the Download button to save the plugin .zip file to your computer.

Step 2: Extract the Plugin

  1. Locate the downloaded file:
    • Navigate to the folder on your computer where the plugin file was downloaded.
  2. Extract the files:
    • Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All to extract the contents to a specific folder.
  3. Read the README.txt:
    • Open the README.txt file that comes with the plugin for specific installation instructions, setup details, and any important notes.

Step 3: Upload the Plugin to ClientExec

  1. Log in to your ClientExec Admin Area:
    • Use your browser to log in to your ClientExec admin panel using your admin credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Plugin Management area:
    • In the Admin Menu, go to Settings > Plugins or the relevant section where plugins are managed.
  3. Upload the plugin files:
    • Using an FTP client (like FileZilla) or the ClientExec file manager, connect to your server.
    • Upload the plugin files (from the extracted folder) to the following directory on your ClientExec installation:
      /plugins/[plugin_name]/
  4. Ensure correct file permissions:
    • Set the correct permissions for the plugin files. Typically, it should be 755 for directories and 644 for files. This can usually be done via your FTP client.

Step 4: Set Up and Configure the Plugin

  1. Activate the Plugin:
    • Return to your ClientExec admin panel.
    • Go to Settings > Plugins and locate the newly uploaded plugin in the list.
    • Click Activate to enable the plugin.
  2. Configure the Plugin:
    • After activation, click on Settings or Configure (depending on the plugin) to access its settings page.
    • Follow the configuration instructions detailed in the README.txt or adjust the settings according to your requirements.

Step 5: Test the Plugin

  1. Perform a basic test:
    • After configuring the plugin, perform a basic test to ensure everything is functioning as expected.
    • If the plugin integrates with external systems, test those connections as well.
  2. Check for any errors:
